Ms. Olivier concentrates her practice in civil rights litigation, and brings significant litigation and trial experience to Hale & Monico. She began her career as a trial attorney at an insurance defense firm, where she individually tried more than 35 jury trials to verdict and conducted hundreds of depositions and arbitrations in Cook and its collar counties. She next served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in both the criminal and civil divisions of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, she tried 3 jury and 33 bench trials before transitioning to the Civil Rights/Torts Litigation Section, where she specialized in representing Cook County and its agents in both State and Federal court. Prior to joining Hale & Monico, she returned to private practice at a civil defense firm where she focused on toxic tort, premises and product liability.

In law school, Ms. Olivier won multiple awards as a member of DePaul College of Law’s Appellate Moot Court Society, including first place at the National Juvenile Law Moot Court Competition.
